Not risking falling into the most trivial of trivialities, Milan is the fashion capital. Milan is the fashion district, literally “Il quadrilatero della moda”. Those four roads, studded with the flagship stores of the most important brands of the fashion and luxury world, are one of the marvels of the city.
As a little girl I was fascinated by the perfection of the shop windows and what they revealed. But because I lived in a small city I got used to shopping in department stores, where you can find a little bit of everything. I was anxious to move to Milan for a bunch of reasons, such as to go crazy shopping in via Montenapoleone. And so it happened.
One day I ended up in what then became one of my favorite shops: Antonia to be precise. This is how I discovered the fascination with having all of my favorite brands in just one shop. And I began to feel at home again, among scarves and hats, between dresses and stilettos, like a little girl in mommy’s closet.
All this to tell you that I still like to have fun in Montenapoleone every once in a while, but to get pampered my way I go here:

That is, if you don’t mind making even your trendiest friends jealous.

A marvelous micro-world in a city on the move, a world full of art which it releases from every corner, terrace and garden, as much in the gallery as in the store.. (…) While I immerse myself into this concept and lose myself completely. While I imagine my Lady in this marvelous dress by Azzedine Alaïa, or while in the bookshop not knowing where to start and my gaze – at times not very careful – catches a glimpse of “Three at Last” by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, my favorite photographer.”
