If, like us, you are among those who are already planning new flight destinations, we have a place for you: Iter – From Italy to the World, which opened last September in Via Fusetti, replacing the historic Cucina Fusetti.
Designed as a gastronomic “airport” with an Italian heart, the new bar of Nicola Scarnera – also known as “Nico” – a promising talent in mixology, and Flavio Angiolillo & Co (the owner of Mag Café, 1930 Speakeasy e Backdoor43) will be your departure gate to international flavors, reinterpreted and adapted to our culture. Initially, the products served, from the menu to the cocktail list, as well as the coffee, will be very Italian. But we know that our greatest passion is the journey, even if always followed by coming back home and all of the “but in Italy it’s better” talking, for which we are recognized everywhere we go on the planet.
So, the whole team – chefs, bartenders and photographers – once every six months for a week, will go to a country on the globe to explore their culture and culinary habits, observing every detail to reinterpret their essence in a new dedicated menu made exclusively with products from the country of origin, which will subsequently be available at Iter for this time period.
The change of the menu will be accompanied by many adaptations of the space itself, to reflect the culture of the country of choice. An eclectic and welcoming environment designed to entice people to enjoy the time spent together, with so many little details to discover every next visit.
With 26 indoor and 15 outdoor spaces, the environment is designed to foster interactions, drink and eat well. The quality of the cocktails may not be a surprise, but a little bird told us that the breakfast will be absolutely astonishing… Stay tuned!
