Cova, Cova, Cova… pure temptation! Café, patisserie or luxury boutique?
It’s hard to single out this little gem from the glittery windows of fashion’s elite, competing with breathtaking marketing displays for the most coveted real estate, in the district’s Via “par excellence”.
Cova has it all, as an international melting pot, a shopping breather for our city’s ever present noblewomen (legit or wannabe), but also simply as a light lunch, coffee break or tea room, more and more visited by fashion addicts of the world, especially during the loved/hated fashion week.
Whether you’re looking for some take-out to enjoy somewhere quiet or you decide to sit beneath the huge crystal chandeliers one thing is sure: your taste buds will be begging you for a permanent membership to this yummy destination all about taste and tradition even though, unfortunately, it’s not Italian anymore (it was recently bought out by the French group LVMH who obviously got a whiff of it’s timeless potential).
For the sweet tooth you have everything from panettone and pralines to chocolate, puddings and sweets galore. Personally, I can’t resist the delicious little fish sandwiches: Tuna and salmon, my favorite!
I literally have to drag myself back to work after all that indulgence.
