Sushi delivery? Yes, but gourmet!

It’s called Aji, it’s defined as an oriental take away and delivery, and now, the latest new in the Milanese gastronomic panorama. It was created to make our home evenings even better, delivering sushi and delicious oriental sauces of the highest level directly to home. Because let’s face it, if there is no lack of great Asian restaurants in the city, finding the same standard in home delivery is a difficult task. That’s why Aji is exactly the answer for those who, even for the delivery, look for a gourmet proposal.

Aji - Milano

The guarantee of unexceptionable quality of Aji has a name: IYO. The mind and the soul of Aji is in fact, Claudio Liu, former founder and owner of the first Michelin-starred ethnic group in Italy. And the assonances between the two places are really many. Like IYO, Aji is located in Via Piero della Francescanumber 17. The place style clearly recalls the one of the older brother: six large windows on the road from which you can admire the skilled chefs juggling in the beautiful and modern visible kitchen.

The quality of the raw materials is the same on which the success of IYO is based, and in the menu there are some specialties already known and appreciated by Iyo admirers, from the scampi to the passion fruit, to the yume roll, to the superb gunkan. The categories are the classic ones: kobachi (entratine), tartare, carpacci, gyoza, nigiri-sashimichirashi, osomaki, oshizushi, uramaki, rice and pasta, seconds. The quality and taste are clearly superior.

Orders can be made directly in the place, by telephone and soon will be possible also order online, choosing from a menu that, in its paper form, is nicely folded in origami mode. For now, the home delivery is guaranteed until just beyond the circle of the ramparts and, even if it is focused on the take-away, you can also eat in the place, sitting at the social table for 12 people at the entrance, right in front of the kitchen.

Even the packaging is extremely refined: all the dishes are elegantly packaged in paper sushi boxes. Each dish is associated with its respective sauce, and the delivery includes wasabi in a tube and homemade soy sauce bottled in original flasks. It’s really a perfect presentation. When the good one is also beautiful, we like it even more.

We can't. That's why every week we share the best experiences
Milan has to offer.
