Crazy Cat Cafè is the first and only café in Milan and, for now, in all Lombardy, to have nine cats, all slick and with the most disparate characters that wander around and play among tables, stools and armchairs. A welcoming café between Piazza Repubblica and the Central Station, where you can start your day off with the right dose of sweetness or have a relaxing, cuddly break.
A place in the Central Station area where you can enjoy a delicious lunch break or end your workday with a nice drink. During the weekends, there’s the traditional brunch with healthy foods, both sweet and savory, that taste like home without renouncing being toothsome. You can’t miss the savory pancakes or the fish fajitas, real treats. Everything is their own production, each dish made with love and dedication. A homely cuisine, with few but excellent products, selected ingredients and vegan and vegetarian options.
But pay attention (and your respects) to the true undisputed masters of the Crazy Cat Cafè. They’re called Blondie, Bowie, Elton, Elvis, Freddie, Jimmy, Joey, Mina and Patty. Nine cats of European breed, found or adopted. The cafè’s rules about treating well its nine residents are quite strict: who violates them gets banned. But after all the cafè is their home.
The dream of the owners of this singular bar/bistrot was born from an unconditioned love for cats and a not-too-random visit of a Neko Café in Osaka. The cat-themed cafés where it’s allowed to observe and interact with those animals may be familiar to the Japanese but, for us, are an all-new, particular reality. We’re lucky the tradition arrived to Milan for the joy of all pet-lovers.
The location, its interiors and every furnishing detail of Crazy Cat Cafè are all cat-friendly, in line with the current health regulations, without any lapses in taste. The place has a decise vintage vibe about it, it’s warm and cozy that gives a strong homely vibe. The service is punctual and careful, and will take care of everything for you.
To bring further ahead their feline mission, the Crazy Cat Cafè runs classes and courses about pets with themed encounters that see sector specialists at work and it’s a true paradise for cat-lovers that want to spend a different afternoon. So, don’t be shy and go take a look!
