DMK – Daniela Mola

A place that is much more than what it looks

Once upon a time there was DMK Daniela Molaa shop that sold handcrafted design items made by Daniela and her life and work companion Ingo Knuth. Today DMK moved in the new Isola area and without changing its vocation, keeping the precious handmade wood objects along with the result of Daniela’s passion for antiques, gifts and fancy goods. Even with the change of location, the atmosphere is the same: the one of a bric-à-brac chaotic only on the surface where a thousand treasures and rarities.

Daniela’s warehouse is a true cave of wonders where, finding and digging, you’ll find a huge amount of unique pieces, collected over the decades and with only one fil rouge: Daniela’s taste, her love for nature and animals, she was the one that put this bazar together in more than 45 years of honored career.

The DMK Daniela Mola store became the vessel of these refined and charming creations and of the research that its owner keeps doing every time she’s on one of her adventures.

Today, unfortunately, Ingo Knuth is no more with us, but something of those amazing items stayed inside Daniela’s world, made of colors, animals and the most various fancy goods and even vintage clothes from the ’70s and ’80s by Yves Saint Laurent and Etro. Entering in her shop means losing yourself in the past and observing with care the myriad products that crowd her shelves, each with its own particularity, a raison d’être, an identity. Entering in the shop and get to meet Daniela means looking at those same objects with even more enthusiasm, like they are the keys to read an eclectic personality that always follows the same rules: her own.
