As a little girl, I probably read and re-read too many books about stories set in the English countryside that told about little hungry bunnies that ate juicy lettuce that got them into trouble. So in just one glance I can spot right away if a flowerbed has anything to do with an edible garden.
It just so happens that while traipsing along in via Mozart, behind the majestic gate that surrounds the Serbelloni Palace garden there is a portion of this stupendous park that maintains cultivations of little gem lettuce, vegetables, strawberries, and fragrant herbs, carefully organized with wood dividers… Passing by day after day you can admire how they grow and turn green!
It is the Edible Garden Milan – The Edible Garden of Serbelloni Palace project. Thanks to the participation of entities and most of all to the care of a group of volunteers, this space is becoming a special food garden. Everyone can join and give an hour of time to the maintenance of this space.
Next, please!
