“Dal Tunnel”: art against violence towards women

Roberta Stifano's art against violence towards women

Art as a testimony, art as an escape and an instrument of dialogue. All this is the cultural project “Dal Tunnel” which aims to raise awareness on the delicate issue of emotional violence in relationships. A very serious problem that afflicts so many couples and often results in tragic outcomes.

From 5th to 13th December, for a whole week, and thanks to the Circolo Metromondo with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and the Cariplo Foundation this series of cultural happenings (including an art exhibition, video projections, theatrical plays and public meetings) will take place all within the Spazio ex Fornace on the Naviglio Pavese.

The main protagonists will be Roberta Stifano’s works that retrace the psychological process of the victim of a relationship characterized by psychological abuse. These works are a message of hope for anyone who has gone through similar problems and indicates art as a possible refuge from the pain that these relationships cause.
