On Sunday, May 29th, fashion will rhyme again with charity thanks to the Summer Edition of Riscatti Fashion Market: after the success of last November’s edition, the Riscatti Onlus, an association that promotes projects in favour of social integration for the homeless, brings back the occasion of a vintage market not to be missed.
In via Valpetrosa 5, from 10.30AM to 7.00PM, you’ll be able to buy wonderful second-hand designer clothes and accessories (men’s, women’s , and kids’), selected and generously donated by Milanese ladies and fashion industry professionals, with open donations starting from €20.
The proceeds of the charity sale will be used to sustain the work placement of three former homeless that, thanks to the help of the association, have taken part with their photographs in the PAC exhibition in Milan last year. Some of the photographs shot for the project will also be on sale at Riscatti Fashion Market.
A unique chance for all the vintage fashion lovers and a concrete opportunity to do a good deed through fair–trade shopping: a “juicy” preview of the shoes, bags, dresses, jackets, ties, and jewellery that will be on sale is offered on the Facebook page of the initiative, where the pictures of the most representative items are posted: Hermès, Gucci, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Brunello Cucinelli, Pucci, Roger Vivier, Tod’s, Prada, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, Alberta Ferretti, Marni, Armani, Diane Von Furstenberg, Max Mara, Sergio Rossi, Kristina T, Ferré, Malìparmi, Bulgari, Blugirl, Ralph Lauren, Dior, Roberta di Camerino, Agnona, Piacenza Cashmere, Louboutin, Valentino, Stella Jean e Nike Lab.
For those who would like to contribute by donating their designer clothes and accessories, a collection point is still active, located at the bookshop Hellis Book of via Losanna 6.
