One of the most beautiful time travels ever made was by a young student named Marty McFly with the complicity of Emmett Brown, called “Doc.”, that strange friend with the eyes of those who knew many and with passion for indomitable science as much as his matted white hair. In the trilogy of Back to the Future, the two took four steps back into the past and stumbled upon a similar future from today, – giving us a sort of bowed prophecy in a ribbon of film dialogues, packed into a set and served to us between the pixels of a movie screen.

There have been many films, books, debates, thoughts and poems about jumps between eras, this is precisely because time is one of those themes that fascinates us from the origin of the world, and that we worry about, and make us anger when we realize we don’t have enough time to say or do what we wanted. We know very well that “time flies” and “everything flows” we here at Flawless. We have seen it pass through our fingers on the keyboards, in the form of words and miles milled in the streets to tell in the beginning about the Milanese capital, then Florence, and now, Turin.

In fact, to celebrate some important achievements in 2019 we decided to organize a Secret Party on the last March 21st. Flawless Cocktail Party, which some perhaps heard about while (many) others participated, was centered around three main events: Flawless Milan – The Lifestyle Guide fifth birthday, the third Flawless Turin website and the new paper publishing project Map of Mi. – Horizon. Now we want to tell you briefly about how it went.

For our location we could only opt for Spazio Tencitt: a former coal depot, related to the nearby and equally evocative Cantina Piemontese. Both are located in Via Laghetto 2, in the corner of Milan immune to the clinking of the hands of the clocks, where history speaks. Until 1875 it was the crossroads of barges that carried heavy marble for the construction of the Cathedral and loads of coal.

Spazio Tencitt is a true unicum in the city and within its walls there is an intoxicating atmosphere made up of soft lights and infinite details to discover: a former coal depot turned into an event space with a romantic barrel-vaulted cellar, studded with exposed brick where design and retro meet. A special place where a pact of harmony between yesterday and today is sealed. It fully reflects the “best” of the Milanese lifestyle we want to experience every day.

To delight the eyes and the palate of all, the Mag Cafè family of Flavio Angiolillo thought up mixology shots with a selection of 4 drinks, while Graziano della Nebbia, DJ of Armani/Privé, let us dance and have fun with his DJ set. The guests have also probably made the acquaintance of the NIO cocktails – if you don’t know what they are read here, because they could be the solution for some of your evenings sheltered from the chaos of the city.

With this event we wanted to stop time for a few moments. Now, as the world has begun to revolve and Milan continues to tempt us with its beauty and the many experiences it has to offer, we will continue to share everything with you, dear readers, filtering with our eyes and words what we see and trying not to be paralyzed by its charm.
